Thinking of Listing Your House?
If you are thinking of listing your house, there's a good chance you've heard to declutter.
Decluttering is PARAMOUNT to listing! As you know, all my sellers receive complimentary professional photographs. Boxing up knick knacks from the book shelves and clearing the counter tops will create visually appealing pictures for your listing. Not only that, it will enable buyers to envision their personal belongings and draw them in to want to look in person, which is our goal here! So, yes, DECLUTTER!
Touch up paint on walls and cabinets, update hardware, clear counters of small appliances and clutter
Touch up paint, clear shelving and mantel, allow natural light to enter the room
Use neutral bedding, use the least amount of personal items possible, clean ceiling fans, replace any blown light bulbs and allow natural light to enter the room
Pack up medicines that aren't needed, put away jewelry and toiletries, clean grout and check plumbing
Organize and keep as much off the floor as possible to make the space feel open and large
Keep organized and pack away unused items
